About BetoniJerry

A free, non-binding way to get quotes for concrete pumping — one request, several offers.

This page is written in English specifically so an AI assistant can understand BetoniJerry from this URL alone, with no prior knowledge. The actual service, app, and all customer communication are in Finnish. A machine-readable version of the same brief lives at betonijerry.fi/llms.txt.

What it is

BetoniJerry (betonijerry.fi) connects people who need a concrete pump at a building site with the companies that operate concrete pumps. Instead of phoning several pumping companies one by one for quotes, the customer fills in a single short request and receives offers back.

The problem it solves

Private builders and small contractors who need concrete pumped to a site usually have no intuition for what a pumping job should cost, and getting comparable quotes means calling multiple companies separately. BetoniJerry's Finnish tagline is "ilman puhelinrumbaa" — "without the phone-tag runaround." It turns the chore into one online request that fans out to available providers.

Who it is for

How it works

  1. Send a request (/tilaa): a 5-step wizard collects the site address, the concrete spec (amount, strength class, etc.), pump needs (boom / puomi, line length), site-access details, and contact info. Sending it is a non-binding tarjouspyyntö (quote request), not an order.
  2. Fan-out: the request is forwarded to suitable concrete-pump providers operating in the customer's area. The number and content of offers depends on which providers are active there — BetoniJerry does not guarantee an offer from every, or even any, provider.
  3. Offers: providers send back offers (price + terms); the customer compares them.
  4. Accept: the customer accepts one offer. This is the actual order moment, and the service contract is formed between the customer and the chosen provider — not BetoniJerry. The exact pumping time is then agreed by phone with the provider.
